I'm an artist who has been working and playing with fibers for a long time now. My journey began in childhood - I was always drawn to colors, and that fascination continues to this day.

 

I weave, crochet, knit, embroider and create installations and wall tapestries, guided mostly by my inner intuition. I let myself be led by colors, embracing the joy of chance.

 

I studied Art History and Archaeology and am fascinated by ancient civilizations.

 

I spent many years in high fashion, owned a boutique in the south of France, and worked as a DJ. But I could always be found engaged with  my threads.

 

So, in 2013, I decided to create Lia JOY, a small array of accessories for the summer collection, because sunshine is my favorite accessory.

 

I design and create them with my fingers, without any machines! :)

 

I exclusively choose natural fibers like linen, cotton, cashmere, and alpaca.

 

I have no ambition to compete with industrial fast-fashion labels. I simply want to express my idea of a certain lifestyle, a way to wear clothes.
